Lets get into it

So, as y'all know my goal is to empower you with the tools and knowledge to succeed in whatever fitness goal you're after. When it comes to reaching your fitness and lifestyle goals there are some universal truths. This little article is aimed at giving y'all some basic knowledge that be used today and will server you for the rest of your amazing life. Lets get into it!

The very first thing, what is your main goal? weight loss, performance, putting on some sweet sweet lean muscle mass?

Be specific, don't just say "I want to be healthier or I want to run faster." That's like shooting blind and it can lead to frustration.

Think S.M.A.R.T!!!

Specific: I want to lose 10lbs, by exercising 2x a week & eating 500 cal less a day.

Measurable: I can weigh myself every week to track progress.

Achievable: Can I honestly reach the goal I want?

Relevant: Does this play into the bigger picture of my life?

Timely: I want to reach my goal in 5 months.

You can apply the S.M.A.R.T mindset to any goal and achieve it. I'll let you in on a little secret too. Time and consistency are the biggest factors when it comes to reaching your goal. On that note be kind to yourself and accept the fact it's not gonna happen over night and there's always going to be an excuse to not do the things we should.

It doesn't matter what the most optimal the exercise or diet is if you can't stick with it. There's optimal and there's reality!

Hey, if you can give just 75% of your best day to day, you'll get so much farther than the person who gave 110% for a week or two and gave up cause they burnt out. Trust me, I've seen it way too many times to count. Time will tell the truth and show the results.

Now, that doesn't mean slack off and just go through the motions, we still need to give honest effort, but don't be so uptight that you choke yourself out. give yourself some wiggle room and understand that it's a process that will come with success and failure. As long as we're winning more than we're losing we'll get to that goal.

Well anyway, that's today's rambling. Hope it helps and gets that brain thinking, until next time. Peace!!
